Luxury Lodge To Create Sustainable Infinity Pool Experience

Delamore Luxury Lodge, on Waiheke Island in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf has announced that they are enhancing the guest experience by adding a stunning infinity pool & BBQ complex to the property.

The infinity pool, has been designed to fit with the contours of the land and enhance the natural environment.  Using solar power to heat the pool it also fits with the lodge’s sustainable philisophy and minimal carbon footprint.

Construction of the pool complex is due to commence in the next few weeks with completion scheduled for October 2009. 

This will further pamper Delamore's guests in a private, secluded and simply stunning setting, spoiling them with the breathtaking views from the lodge while just relaxing or dining poolside.

Architect Ron Stevenson says "It was important that the pool reflected the organic architecture of the lodge, strongly relating to it without dominating or obscuring the panoramic sea views.

The result is an oval infinity pool, shaped to fit into the steep contours below the lodge, sitting as an oasis in the lush native bush with spectacular vistas to the Hauraki Gulf"
